About the Course
Enjoy a relaxing and nature-soaked weekend with your most precious inner tribe. Set in the relaxing and tranquil Gunns Camp site, Waimate, we invite you to:
Unwind from the busy-ness of life, while dipping in and out of the mystery and wonder of the natural world under the skillful guidance of Ecotherapists.
Learn and practice skills to deepen and nurture your family relationships in sessions facilitated by skilled Nonviolent Communication (NVC) facilitators, informed by an understanding of neuroscience and child development.
Experience the wonder and joy of playing with, and witnessing the play of, your children as they are guided and encouraged to wild their souls in both unstructured and structured nature-based adventures.
Enjoy living, cooking and eating in community - sharing wholesome, plant-based, gluten-free meals which we will prepare together.
Retire each night after a story around the fire (or community-led entertainment) and wake each day to nature's melodic chorus.
This weekend begins on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday afternoon. It offers parents an opportunity to unwind, sharpen their soul-centric parenting communication, learn about and experience games and fun in the wild with their children while also taking space for contemplative self-reflection in nature.
